Make Your Motor Your Most Reliable Partner, Not a Headache. Remember These Points to Easily Avoid Common Failures!
The motor is like the "heart" of your equipment. Proper usage habits are the foundation for its long-term, stable operation. The following key points will help you avoid unnecessary troubles.
Daily/Weekly Self-Check List
▫️ Listen: Is the operating sound smooth and even? Stop immediately and inspect if new friction or impact noises appear.
▫️ Touch: Is the housing temperature within a reasonable range? (Generally, it should be comfortable to touch for an extended period).
▫️ Look: Are there any abnormal vibrations, unusual smells, or electrical sparks?
▫️ Check: Are fasteners loose? Are the terminal connections secure?
Four Golden Rules
1.Right Sizing is Key: Never "under-power" or "over-power" your application. Select a motor with matching power and specifications based on the load characteristics (constant torque, constant power, etc.).
2.Start Gently: Avoid frequent direct starts whenever possible. For high-inertia loads, consider using a soft starter or variable frequency drive (VFD) to reduce mechanical and current shock.
3.Environment Matters: Maintain a clean, dry, and well-ventilated installation environment. Keep it away from dust, oil, and corrosive gases.
4.Maintenance is an Investment: Establish and strictly follow a regular maintenance schedule based on usage intensity, including cleaning, lubrication, and inspection of critical components.
